Practically all polymer materials undergo oxidative degradation reactions occurring at one or all of the manufacturing, processing and end use stages. Antioxidants are highly effective in preventing this degradation to the extent that color development, physical and mechanical property loss is kept within acceptable limits.
Antioxidants:

EVERNOX-10/GF (CAS 6683-19-8) can be applied in polyolefins, such as PE and PP as well as olefin copolymers like EVA. Its use is also recommended in various polymers such as POM, PA, PUR, PES, PBT, PET, PVC, styrenics like IPS, ABS, elastomers like SBS, SEBS, EPM and EPDM, as well as other synthetic rubbers, adhesives, tackifier resins, and other organic substrates.

EVERNOX-1330/GF (1709-70-2) is used in polyolefins e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene for the stabilization of pipes, molded articles, wires and cables, dielectric films etc. Furthermore, it is applied in other polymers such as engineering plastics like linear polyesters, polyamides, and styrene homo- and copolymers. It may also be used in PVC, polyurethanes, elastomers, adhesives, and other organic substrates.
